🍽️ 2 portions
Ingredients
250g gnocchi
2 steaks (I used MMBeef steaks)
1 tbsp olive oil
20g butter
4 garlic cloves
250mL double cream
20g grated fresh parmesan (plus some extra to serve)
salt and pepper
Method
Cook the gnocchi according to package directions
Meanwhile season the steaks with salt and pepper. In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil and fry the steaks on both sides until they are cooked to your liking. Add 10g of butter and 2 sliced garlic cloves and cook for 2 more minutes while adding the butter on top of the steaks. Then remove the steaks from the pan and set it aside and cover to keep warm.
Add the rest of the butter to a pan along with the rest of the finely chopped garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes at medium heat until the garlic becomes golden. Add the cream, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of the gnocchi cooking water and mix well. Add the cook gnocchi into the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Thinly slice the steaks and serve on top of the creamy Alfredo gnocchi. Enjoy while hot!
